Flu Treatment Options
How Can I Treat the Flu?
Of the flu treatment options available, some prescription flu medications may help lessen your symptoms or may help reduce the time you’re sick. In order to be effective though, prescription flu medications must be taken within the first 48 hours of the onset of flu symptoms. So act fast. If your child has the flu, your doctor can provide you with information about prescription flu medicines that are approved for children.
